I installed my application yesterday in Nitra :-) I still had some minor details to finish up and I'm presenting it in few minutes (which will undoubtedly lead to some more fine tuning) But I believe the project will be a success! hi ayers (and good morning all ) still ready through my mails wish you luck for the presentation Thanks! And thank /you/ and everyone who contributed for GNUe! *** dimas_ has joined #gnuenterprise *** btami has quit IRC *** kilo has quit IRC *** a20tornado has joined #gnuenterprise reinhard: The presentation went great. Tomorrow it goes into production! excellent so how long is your list of things you must change until tomorrow? ;-) hehe :-) acutally it's rather short. But the list of thier future options which were underspecified is long :-) *** lupo__ has quit IRC *** cirrusimage has joined #gnuenterprise ./gnue-appserver/doc/api/Makefile: (cd ../..; echo "import src; print src.VERSION" | gcvs) >> version.texi ./gnue-appserver/doc/devguide/Makefile: (cd ../..; echo "import src; print src.VERSION" | gcvs) >> version.texi These two uses of gcvs break the "./setup.py install" Unless setup-cvs.py was also run before you do a setup.py install from a freshly checked out SVN? yeap Well that happend on the weekend. Sunday evening. We that question meant as "Did you do a ..." or "Why did you do a"? I actually don't think that this would be the only thing that breaks if you try to install from fresh svn no it wasn't : :) but I think you need a running gnue-common anyway so setup.py install works for the other packages since those try to import parts of gnue-common Oh... of course I did a setup.py in gnue-common first. But that won't install a gcvs that install gnue-schema (i believe) ah hrm... *installs I'm really not sure what is the best way to handle this stuff all installation routines are basically meant to be run from a tarball and there are already a number of places where we check whether install is run from tarball or from SVN I have to think about this a little more bbl OK. later! *** jcater has joined #gnuenterprise *** a20tornado has quit IRC *** a20tornado has joined #gnuenterprise *** derek has joined #gnuenterprise *** jbailey has joined #gnuenterprise *** reinhard has quit IRC *** sjc has joined #gnuenterprise *** sjc has quit IRC *** sjc has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest_ has joined #gnuenterprise *** jbailey has quit IRC *** jamest has quit IRC *** jamest_ has quit IRC *** jamest has joined #gnuenterprise *** jamest has quit IRC *** ayers has left #gnuenterprise *** cirrusimage has quit IRC *** sjc_ has joined #gnuenterprise *** sjc has quit IRC *** sjc_ has quit IRC *** derek has quit IRC *** derek has joined #gnuenterprise *** jcater has quit IRC *** davi has joined #gnuenterprise
